Crewed Ambulance with Twin EMT
Introduction to Crewed Ambulance with Twin EMT
The Twin Emergency Medical Technician Ambulance provides an excellent skill level able to deal with most emergency situations. Having two Emergency Medical Technicians aboard an ambulance gives the crew the ability to manage even the most challenging medical emergency, for example, a cardiac arrest. Their training and experience allow them to recognise when further assistance is needed and can when appropriate undertake both time-critical and urgent patient transfers.
The resource that you require will be based on the risk assessment of your event. This will be fully discussed with you. The choice of a Twin Emergency Medical Technician Ambulance is a good one due to their versatility when working at events.

This resource may be the only unit on site if that is indicated in the risk assessment. However, Twin Emergency Medical Technician Ambulances are a great addition to the multidisciplinary team for busy or higher risk events, such as music festivals, rugby, football etc. Emergency Medical Technicians can provide support and guidance to Advanced First Aiders, as well as back up to Paramedics. In many cases Emergency Medical Technicians will be able to address the needs of patients, allowing them to return to the event.
